"Hi, My son attended Rookie camp in June 2007. I was very impressed with the set up and how the players interacted with the kids. Everyday he was excited to go and every night we heard about all of the fun he had learning how to really play and enjoy the sport. The Gopher staff and players...what can I say...you all are amazing! My sons eyes lit up everyday he was there. It was wonderful to have so many positive, strong male role models for these kids. You really had an impact on him. I just wanted to let you know that I truly appreciate all of your hard work and hours that you put into this camp. "My son, James (age 12) attended the recent hitting sessions during Christmas break. My son has attended other camps and usually dropped out after the first day due to lack of interest and stimulation. He simply has not had dreams of being a big league ball player. After the first night at the Gopher camp he came home thrilled. 'Dad, I changed my whole swing' was his comment. Next comment,'I crushed the ball'. Third comment, 'I really liked Luke, he helped me and he spent a lot of time working with me on my swing!' And finally, 'I can't wait to go back.' Anyway, I am thrilled that each night was a repeat of his first night reviews. The players and coaches, not just Luke, worked hard with the kids, were excellent coaches and made the event fun throughout."
